Post 4.- chchchchchchch

I celebrate the Independence Day, although I'm not very nationalistic. I like these days, but not for all things that people do to feel  a bit patriotic, I like just 'cause I can eat and drink a lot pf typical chilean foods, and that can be in my home or any other place (In this celebration it's practically permitted to drink on the streets)
People go out and spend their money in "Fondas", a typical social gathering, I prefer spend my money in my home, these holidays and always. I was with my family in my home, as any normal celebration (like Mother's day or New year, or any day that can to be celebrate) Mi mom did a lot of empanadas, but these aren't the classical empanadas with beef and made in an oven, these are fried empanadas with chicken. I prepare a drink that recently has been done very popular, called "Terremoto" (Earthquake), it was made by wine "pipeño" with a drink called "granadina" and pineapple ice cream. Many of my kin never had tasted this drink, and they liked it very much.

I think that the most important for me in these days are the "Terremotos", I love them :D

Post 3.- Imaginary holidays

I haven't had many vacations in my life, but one of that vacations was incredible.
The summer after I finished the secondary, in the 2007, my boyfriend took me to a really great place: Brazil. He had a good job in that moment, so he could pay my plane ticket.
It was a very fun travel, I could eat many things that I never thought to taste and I saw a lot of very beautiful places.
The principal place that I could visit was the Cristo Redentor, a typical brazilian statue that is an icon for Rio de Janeiro. But the most funny thing that I did was to dance samba in the Rio Carnival. I could see many girls, boys and drag people dancing by the rhythm of the music, and many tourist dancing too, and many of them being robed by a pickpocket.

I think that Brazil is a nice country, but I know that I just saw the turistic part of it and I didn't know the real Brazil.
Finally, I had a lot of sex ;)

Post 2.- Hidden place

Crazy Björk

There's a country that I knew just for two reasons: Björk and Sigur Rós. This reasons made me know Iceland.
When I was a child, I never feel interested in another countries, but since I started to listen Björk I wanted to know Iceland. Later, when I was a teenager, I knew the "Post rock" music, so I discovered Sigur Rós.
In the 2007, it made a documentary about the band, called "Heima", wich show me the beautiful landscapes that Iceland has. This made me think that to live there would be wonderful!
I must recognize that I don't know much about this place, but the last year, when it was the climax of the student movement, I heard that in the last years there were many protest in that country, after a financial crisis. People organized it in a citizen movement, and they achieved change their system.
I would like to visit Iceland, and see how it is its society, and investigate how the people who lives there got to obtain the capacity for to do a great revolution.
